Our Vision
The map to the right is our vision for the land that we believe God is going to give us. We know that ministry can be rewarding and challenging at the same time. In some cases, the challenges outweigh the rewards. Our belief is that all people in ministry need some type of continued support and encouragement to keep going. We are here to help provide that support. Whether it is a place to rest and laugh, or a shoulder to cry on.
We are aiming to build a place for ministry leaders and their spouses to get the rest and refreshment they need. We know that they can’t take care of the people they are trying to minister to if they are not healthy themselves.
Who we are
John and Linda Shelton have been married for over 34 years and have been privileged to be involved in many types of ministry.
John has earned his Doctorate in Pastoral Counseling from Liberty University and Linda has been an RN and a pastor’s wife for over 25 years. They feel like they can relate to ministry leaders and their spouses in an effective and unique manner.
John & Linda regularly meet with ministry leaders and/or their spouses to offer encouragement, a listening ear, and confidential care.
They are looking for land so they can build a place where ministry leaders and their spouses can go to get away for an afternoon or a couple of days and have some uninterrupted time with the Lord. There will be prayer cabins, tiny houses, and walking trails where they can get away from the busyness of ministry and get recharged, refreshed, and renewed.

The MORE 3:20 Haven wants to be a part of helping these ministry leaders fight against these challenges.
John and Linda have a passion for helping people in ministry and desire to see them stay in ministry for the long haul.
There are currently two ways for you to be involved.
The first way is to partner with us in prayer. We regularly ministering to others and covet your prayers for ourselves and for the people to whom we are ministering.
The second way is for you to partner with MORE 3:20 financially. We are a 501 (c)(3) non-profit ministry and your support will help ministry leaders and their spouses get to a healthier place in their ministries.
